The Argentinian Association of Crystallography (AACr) is dedicated to promote Crystallography all over the country, as well as to bring together groups working in this area of knowledge and/or groups employing it as a tool in their research. The variety of topics discussed is wide, similarly to the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr, website: www.iucr.org). The AACr was founded on October 30^th, 2004, on the occasion of the "National Workshop on Crystallography" held in Villa Giardino, Province of Córdoba.
